If you like, you can come in at any time and submit a different ad even if the one entered previously is still running. The original ad will continue for one more submission and then is replaced by the new ad which will then run every four hours for the balance of YOUR day regardless of what time you place the ad. All in all you get 6 submissions per day over a 24 hour period for a total of 2190 submissions a year.
